Greetings doomers and gloomers,

Alright, let’s go. Time for the roundup of the music released in September. It’s a clear sign that autumn is coming when we are flooded with new music releases. September was busy, it felt like the busiest ninth month of the year in a long time.

There wasn’t only a sick amount of new releases, there was a crazy amount of amazing releases. A whole lot of them will definitely make it to those lists you call Albums Of The Year.

Don’t miss BLACK BIRCH’s self titled debut release if you’re a fan of melancholic and melodic yet raw and crusty black metal. For me this band is the most interesting one in Swedish black metal in years.
The Danes in UNDERGANG delivers, as usual, some filthy and gory death metal. UGH.
If you need something more relaxing you should check out SLOWDIVE. Soothing, shoegazing soundscapes.
