Greetings doomers and gloomers,

Long time no newsletters. Again.

Since I’ve had such a hard time with keeping up some sort of regularity with the weekly newsletters I’m going to try something new, because I still enjoy doing the lists and share them to you. So I’m changing how I send out the newsletters. Instead of doing it once a week, like I did once upon a time, I’m going to do it once a month. Not one (very long) list for the whole month but one part for every week in the past month. I hope I can manage to do it the first few days of the month but since this first one is for July and we’re now reading August 15th in the calendar I’m not promising anything.

And just for your information: I decided to only include releases that is available on Bandcamp.

Let’s start. This is the first part of four of Doomed And Gloomed’s Release Roundup for July 2023. It’s summer so the release activity was obviously a little bit slower last month, but not much. I tend to find a lot of interesting music whatever time of the year it is. What can I say? My release radar is… good.

A few of my absolute favourites are On The Verge Of Apocalypse by LYCANTHROPHY, S.C.U.M. by 偏執症者 (PARANOID), Nefarious Instinct by WYLD TIMEZ and Volume One by YAWNING BALCH, but… there’s 32 more releases to check out.
